Abstract

In November 2014, Inflation of Kota Pontianak is 1.41 percent with Consumer Price Index (CPI) 118.87. Inflation occurs because of the increase in the index is greater than the decrease in the index in some expenditure groups. Expenditure groups that are increasing are foodstuffs index 2.22 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes, and tobacco group 1.54 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel group 0.42 percent; health group 0.15 percent; education, recreation, and sport group 0.13 percent and tranpor, communication and sports group by 2.97 percent. While expenditure group index declines in the clothing category -0.47 percent.
