National Labor Force Survey 2018

The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) is one of the most important sources of employment data in Indonesia. Sakernas results data has been widely used by various circles, both at home and abroad.

The labor theory approach used in Sakernas uses the standard labor force concepts set forth in the 13th International Conference of Labor Statisticsians (ICLS) 1982 and ICLS 19 referring to the System of National Accounts (SNA) 2008. The Sakernas data collection activities were conducted in February and August every year, in the presence of a sakernas will produce the latest employment indicators that will be useful in development planning in the field of employment in Indonesia.
