Abstract

Inflation occurs because of an increase in the index in five (5) types of expenses and a decrease in the index of 2 (two) groups ofexpenditure. Foodstuffs decreased index of -1.99 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes, and tobacco rose by 1.73 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel rose 0.65 percent; clothing group index decreased by -1.86 percent; health group up 1.92 percent;education, recreation, and sport 0.16 percent and tranpor group, communication and financial services index rose by 1.09 percent.
